Homemade Bread Dough

I love homemade bread, especially on my sandwich. I eat home lunch at school, which means lots of sandwiches! It's yummy and I have the pleasure of knowing I made it myself. I learned how to make it from one of my mom's older friends who has been making bread for a long time. It was awesome and I am so glad that I know how! Last Thanksgiving, I made mini loaves of bread using this recipe and everyone in my extended family loved it and wanted to know how to make it. So I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as my family does!

*****TIP: If you get the liquid lecithin, wipe whatever it touches with a paper towel before you wash it because it sticks to everything and doesn't come off!!******

Instead of making bread loaves, I made mini muffins. I just cooked it for 25 minutes instead of 30!

When you're bread is all done, or if you made muffins like I did, paint the tops with melted butter, using a kitchen brush.

Enjoy!!

Apple Juice

We have been canning like crazy at our house this week! We went over to my grandparents house and canned our very own apple juice! It tastes so much better than the juice you buy at the store and it doesn't have all of the sugar that store-bought has. It has a fresh taste to it as well.

You only need two ingredients:
2 Bushels of Apples
1 gallon of water per batch

In a canning juicer, pour 1 gallon of water in the bottom part of the juicer. Put 30 quartered apples in the top of the juicer and cook for two hours, or until you can't get anymore juice out. Make sure you have a large bowl to catch the juice when it comes out of the tube. Put in jars while it's still hot and give the jars a twenty minute water bath. Repeat the process for the rest of the apples, only doing 30 apples at a time.

Pumpkin Waffles

The best thing about fall is pumpkin. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin candles, pumpkin decor, everything and all things pumpkin! I saw this recipe on Pinterest for pumpkin waffles and I felt an overpowering need to try it out. So glad I did, by the way! If you've ever had a pumpkin roll, it tastes just like that! Even my extremely picky little sister liked them, and that's saying something! I hope you guys enjoy these as much as my family does!

Canned Apple Pie Filling

I love pie! Yum yum, yum!!! Apple, pumpkin, banana cream, chocolate mousse, huckleberry, they are all so delicious. Since I love pie so much, I canned 7 quarts of apple pie filling. Whenever I am in the mood for pie (which is always :) I whip up a crust and pop open a jar of filling.

This recipe is absolutely yummy! Enjoy! Happy fall!

Kettle Corn

At our house, we have movie nights a lot. And when we have movie nights, we have popcorn, candy, the works. Kettlecorn is our favorite kind of popcorn (along with cinnamon bear popcorn). The first time I had kettlecorn, I really didn't like it, but since we have it at least once a month or so,  I have grown to love it and now it's a favorite treat of mine. :)

Snickerdoodles

I love cinnamon. It is seriously my all-time favorite spice. And with fall coming up, everything at our house seems to have just a little bit of cinnamon. Whether it be our french toast or our pies, cinnamon just adds the right amount of spice. Snickerdoodles also happen to be my favorite cookie (must be the cinnamon). They are delish!

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! Happy fall!
